I’ve always been fascinated with Steampunk culture, but never had the opportunity to delve into it myself. That was until my work decided to theme the annual ball as Steampunk.
The next few months were spent sourcing different items to complete a costume making it look as busy as possible. I wore brown waistcoat (ebay) with cravat (ebay), pocket watch (ebay), faux leather arm band with el wire (left over from Tron costume), painted goggles (Bunnings), metal origami spider (Nature’s Discoveries), and painted Nerf Gun (Trademe).
